Today, I am very honored to introduce Coach Julie Luby. Julie is a National Board Certified and Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach, who’s formal education was Food Science and Nutrition. She’s spent four decades as a product development leader in the food industry, where she led creative teams and worked with clients around the world to bring their new food ideas to life. While she loved being immersed in the food world, the grueling and unsustainable pace of it led her make a conscious decision to create more time to take care of her own health needs and enroll in the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy. At about the same time, a family member was struggling with cognitive decline and she was introduced to the Bredesen Protocol at Dr. Bredesen’s first patient immersion in 2017. She now helps clients avoid or reverse chronic conditions like type 2 diabetes and cognitive decline and alongside Dr. Bredesen has co-created training modules, teaches the Mastering Mold Toxicity course and leads three support groups for Apollo Health. Her work has been invaluable to my dad and family and I am very grateful for to be with us today.
The video discusses a program called pre-code, which is designed to help people with dementia prevention before any symptoms appear. It explains who should consider the program, especially those with a family history of cognitive issues, and emphasizes the importance of early action in regards to cognitive impairment. The pre-code program is really for preventing cognitive decline and is designed for people who do not have any memory loss yet, but are interested in healthy aging.
