Dementia is an umbrella term for symptoms like memory loss, thinking struggles, and social decline—aka cognitive decline. It disrupts daily life with issues in behavior, language, and movement. Not a single disease, Dementia includes types like Lewy Body, Frontotemporal, Vascular, and Alzheimer’s Disease. Think of it like cancer—you ask, “Which type?”
Alzheimer’s is the top Dementia form, hitting 80% of cases—6.9M in the US, 55M worldwide. Symptoms? Memory loss, confusion, trouble communicating, planning, or moving, plus mood shifts like depression or paranoia. It worsens over time, leading to full dependency and, sadly, death.
But there’s hope! The Bredesen Protocol (ReCODE)—Reversal of Cognitive Decline. Dr. Dale Bredesen’s team has reversed symptoms for hundreds with Mild Cognitive Impairment and Alzheimer’s, backed by studies in 2014, 2016, 2018, 2022, and ongoing trials (links below). Unlike “no cure” claims, ReCODE tackles root causes—insulin resistance, inflammation, and more. Curious?
