By 2017, Dr. Bredesen had found that his patients were falling into about 4 different buckets of slightly different Alzheimer’s. It wasn’t just one blanket diagnosis for everybody that one “silver bullet” drug could cure. Fast forward to today, in 2025, Dr. Bredesen’s team has found this list of subtypes expanding from four to six. On the last episode we talked about Type 2: Atrophic. Now we’ll get into Type 3.
